We are a year round campground located on the Lower Colorado River between Blythe, CA and Yuma, AZ surrounded by the most beautiful desert America has to offer.
10 acres of tent and dry camping areas with full hook-ups available on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Our dry camp area can accommodate very large groups and each year we see large group campers such as boyscout troops, corporate retreats, church activities etc. We can accommodate groups up to 200 by pre arranging it with us.

• Bar (beer/wine only) and pool table
• Fuel Dock
• Easy Boat Launch without having to fight the river’s current
• Additional open storage area available on a monthly basis
• We accept visa and mastercard – NO AMEX or Discover Cards

We are a small family-owned and operated business, big enough to accommodate a great mix of campers but small enough where everyone here is like your extended vacation family.
The “Walter’s Family” are 3rd generation campers who have been here over 30 year who have had their trailer here 20-30 years and who’s kids grew up at this place and are now bringing their kids camping at Walter’s

Easter has an egg hunt and potluck dinner. Thanksgiving is the major one that has to be experienced to believe – with a decades old tradition where we pit roast a whole pig and several turkeys and have a side dish potluck making a camp-wide feast. There is a poker run for jeeps/dirtbikes and a horseshoe tournament. Thanksgiving weekend is so huge here that all current campers show up, lots of past campers and many of the locals from the area. You need to experience it to truly appreciate how we celebrate thanksgiving here.
